Hello all!

Cheers to the long weekend!!! Today my family and I are going to visit the cemetery.  I hope that you all have had a relaxing long weekend, hopefully with a fun barbecue to kick off the start of summer.

I love that all of the berries and cherries are now in season, but I cannot wait until peaches and nectarines are as well because those are my all-time favorite fruits.  I hope that you are ready, because I am coming at this week strong with a week full of blog posts.  I am super pumped to kick off hopefully my first successful blog posting week in quite some time, are you ready, because I am not quite sure if I am.

Hello!

It's been a long time since I last posted.  I'm home now, and I have survived my first semester at Berkeley(whoot whoot).  It's so nice to be back in LA for the holidays.  Hopefully I can keep these blogs a little more updated, and maybe even share a few of my stories from college.  I'm looking forward to the holiday season, and to go christmas shopping tomorrow morning.  Take care!

So I'm alive...

Good Morning Upper East Siders, I mean uhhh.....


So....oh yeah.  I'm aliveeeeeee.

So I started college a few months ago, and my last post was before I had even left for Berkeley.  And now I'm more than halfway through my first semester.  I was also reading through my blog, and I realized that I forgot to tell you guys(probs just me) some stuff over the summer, but oh well, maybe I'll post later, but it's completely irrelevant at the moment,

I just went on tumblr for like the first time since I got here, so that says a lot about how much free time I have now, compared to when I was in high school.  I think I have adjusted well, living wise.  It doesn't feel weird, it feels normal.  Although I cannot wait to go back to LA for winter break.  I already had my first set of midterms over a month ago, and I have my last one on Monday.  Oh how time flies.

A little while ago I finally decide to go visit the libraries, and that was quite interesting.  Now you can expect to find me in the North Reading room after my classes, or during my long break.

Oh my god how life has changed.  I even had my Phase 1 for next semester yesterday.  I remember when I was freaking out for my Phase 1 before CalSo.  And just a heads up, it's just as stressful!

I still have an assignment to do, and a play to read for tomorrow, but this felt like a good time to post a little update to my beloved little blog.  I actually went on here for some inspiration for my assignment, but I had a sudden urge to add some new content.  Hopefully I can write some new content this weekend all about my experiences so far here at Cal.

And to the high school seniors applying to colleges this month (I'm looking at you UC applicants) good luck!  And may the odds be ever in your favor.

Official Relaunch of Glittery & Glam August 8th!!!

Hello!

I hope that you all enjoyed the relaunch preview!  I have been working on some new content, and have loads of ideas for new posts, so I'm excited!  Next week Glittery and Glam will officially be relaunching!  New content will be posted starting Monday, as I have decided to keep all of the preview posts posted.  I hope to kick off the relaunch with a full week of posts, and hopefully many weeks to come.

Blog Relaunch Again?!? Preview tomorrow 12pm PDT

Hello!

So I have decided to relaunch my blog, yet again, so yeah that's exciting.  Since most of my relaunches have been pretty unsuccessful, I have decided to do this one a little differently.  I am going to do a preview of my relaunch tomorrow at 12 noon PDT.  All new content, college journey, lifestyle, the works.  After my preview launches I will see how it goes, and then let you all know if and when I will be relaunching Glittery and Glam.  And always, G&G will always be accessible.  I'm super optimistic about this relaunch and hopefully it will workout in the end.  But as promised in my Instagram post there will be blog content posted this week so watch out for that!

More info will be given in the preview tomorrow, so until then, good night, sweet dreams, and see you at 12pm PDT tomorrow!

Summertime

Summer Greetings!

Ahhhh the crisp sounds and smells of summer.  I love waking up and hearing the birds chirp on my way to the bathroom.  Drinking lemon water and eating my oats slowly is one of the many simple pleasures of a summer morning for me.  I had planned to have a relaxing summer, before all of the hecticness of college starts, but plans do change.  But until then I'll spend my summer days cleaning up my room, planning and organizing for college, and learning how to type(I'll keep you updated on that).  I probably should start posting consistently as well!

Hello!
Last week I graduated high school, and I'm pretty sure that that has not sunk in yet, because otherwise I would probably be in hysterics.  It's so crazy to think that I'm done with high school, and in the fall I'm going to be up at Berkeley.

I had a crazy week last week.  Wednesday was grad night, I had a fabulous time although the only picture I took was of a Mickey-shaped beignet(shown below) because I was trying to conserve my phone battery.  My bus was the last to leave the parking lot and I did not get home until 4.  But luckily for me, I had to be at school at 8:30 for graduation rehearsal because I was set to graduate that day.  Consequently I got sick, and I was very sick Saturday and Sunday, and I'm still recovering.  So I have not done much this summer, and the start of summer has been quite dreadful.

I have started to prepare for college by looking for bedding and trying to figure out my 3 prospective majors.  I hope to have a productive summer at home this year.  I want to learn how to type(correctly), improve my penmanship, as well as other fun and useful things.

What's Happening to Glittery & Glam?

Hello!

So you may be wondering(or maybe that's just me) what's happening to this blog this year.  Well, let me tell you.  Firstly I have no idea how consistently or inconsistently I'm going to be posting on here.  Out of all my relaunches I feel like this one has gone the worst(in perspective).  I had a really great vision in my head for a college journey blog, but I was not able to produce it.  So, sorry for that; however, I will continue to be posting things regarding my college journey, especially with my competition of my last college application.

I think that this blog might go back to what it was meant to be, a place to express my thoughts and overall craziness.  I hope you find it entertaining!

For this week though, there is lots to come.  I have a few posts already scheduled to go up, so we will see how that goes.  Thank you to anyone that has been reading(lol like anyone reads this).

Introducing the new Glittery and Glam!!!

Hello!

I am ecstatic to relaunch Glittery and Glam.

There are so many new cool features to my blog, as well as major changes.  A makeover always helps to revitalize a blog, but the makeover had a different purpose.  I am going to make this blog and college journey and lifestyle blog.  I am so excited to blog my entire college journey from deciding where to apply to, all the way up to starting college!  I invite you to join my on this once in a lifetime journey, literally!

You will notice that I have taken away tabs and added new ones!  Student Profile is literally my student profile, if you are curious to know what I'm applying with you can see there.  I also have added Quick Info, a page that will update you quickly on what step of my college journey I am on.  Lust Lists and Friday Folio are gone, because I am completely transforming my blog.  Because exGlittery and Glam had many posts, I will not delete anything from it.  It will show up in archive, and on the home page.  If you want to read purely exGlittery and Glam, you can visit the exG&G tab.

My last important change is that I am now going to post every weekend, Saturdays and Sundays.  The posts should go up at 1am PST, but there might be bonus posts throughout the week!  First post will go up tomorrow!

I look forward for what's to come with Glittery and Glam.

Sorry that there was no post yesterday.  And I am sorry to say that I will not be posting for awhile, I really want to finish all of my summer homework by the end of the week, and in order to do that I need to completely focus on that.  I also am starting to work on my college applications.  I apologize for not posting consistently, and I hope to return to it.  Until my next post, have a nice summer!

Hello!

So I know I originally stated that I was going to continue to post while in Michigan this week.  Unfortunately I was unable to fulfill that statement throughout the week.  I hope you enjoyed this week's content, and next week, starting Tuesday everything should go back to normal.  Don't worry though, I will still post a little note tomorrow and Monday with my Picture Pic of the Day.  So technically posts still are going up every weekday.

Blog Transformation, Take 2?

Hi Everyone,
I could not be more pleased with the new layout and look to my blog.  I love it!  I feel like it really suits me, and represents me well.  There are still a few small things that i might change, like edit the post title colors or something of that sort.  But all the major work is done.

As you can see I changed a few colors and fonts, and added a sparkly background to the top.  I also added some fun things to the right side.  There you will now be able to find links to my favorite websites and stores of the moment(the idea is that i will change them periodically).  There are also handy dandy little gadgets if you ever feel like subscribing or getting email updates to my posts.  I also hope to add in some fun and pretty pictures to the right side bar as well.

I could not be happier with how well, and smoothly the whole transformation and transition went.  I always go in without a vision, and i always somehow end up with something I love.  Hopefully it will stay that way.  I promise good content coming soon.

Glittery and Glam - The Transformation of "Marshmallows and Sparkles"

I have given "marshmallows and sparkles", an updated, more sophisticated look.  I believe that this blog should reflect who I am, and i believe that i have matured, so my blog should too.  I have taken away the full pink background, and settled for pink date backgrounds and a pink title.  The rest of the blog is white and soft gray to give it a modern sleek effect, that is much more sophisticated than my previous pink-out.  One of the biggest changes I have made to the blog is definitely the title.  This blog is no longer called "marshmallows and sparkles", it is now "glittery and glam".  I believe that this new title reflects who i am better than my previous title, which reflected a younger, less mature me.  I hope that you enjoy the new "marshmallows and sparkles", and the makeover it has received.  I will attempt to post more stuff soon.  I look forward to the future with "glittery and glam".
